Kamikaze
3 shots out of 5
When I started this blog I told my friends to let me know what cocktail they want me to make on their birthdays.
Tonight is Kristin's birthday and she has requested I make a Kamikaze.
A big Happy Birthday to you Kristin!

A big Happy Birthday to you Kristin!
I gave tonight's cocktail 3 shots out of 5.
The Kamikaze is pretty good, but I think next time I make it I will put in less lime juice.
I put in equal amounts of the 3 main ingredients and it was a bit too limey.
So then I added in the simple syrup, which helped........but I think if I would have halved the lime juice and still added the simply syrup, I would have liked it better.
My husband says that he likes his with lemon juice instead of lime juice..........so that's always an option next time.

Here is the recipe for a Kamikaze:
- 1 shot vodka
- 1 shot Cointreau
- 1 shot lime juice
- 1/4 shot simple syrup
In a shaker add ice, vodka, Cointreau, lime juice and simple syrup. Shake it up really well to get it all mixed and chilled good. Strain into a short cocktail glass.
A huge Happy Birthday to Kristin! We send hugs and kisses your way on your BIG day!!
Cheers!!
The Cocktail Lady
