San Juan
4 shots out of 5
Oh boy.......151-rum again.
Could get dangerous!
It's officially Wednesday and we're half way through until the weekend!
What a perfect reason to make a cocktail.....like we need one right?
On the calendar tonight, we're having a San Juan.

I gave tonight's cocktail 4 shots out of 5.
This is a pretty good blended cocktail!
It's got some good ingredients mixed in it, but I have to say that when I read that I needed to put an entire shot of lime juice in it..........I got nervous.
I've learned that too much lime juice can overtake a cocktail.
Not always a good thing.
To my surprise, it adds a nice flavor and it does not take over or make you make funny faces.
I guess sometimes more lime juice is a good idea! Super glad that it was today! I feel like Wednesdays are our half way point and a good cocktail will help us tackle that last half of the week.
I did say that the lime juice was a good amount, don't get me wrong, I definitely taste the lime juice in this cocktail, but like I said before, it's not over powering this cocktail like it's done in cocktails of the past.

Here is the recipe for San Juan:
- 1 1/2 shots amber rum
- 1 shot grapefruit juice
- 1 shot lime juice
- 1/2 shot cream of coconut
- 1 tsp 151-rum
In a blender add 1 cup of ice, amber rum, grapefruit juice, lime juice and cream of coconut. Blend it up really well until all of the ice is gone. Pour it into your glass (I used a margarita glass) and float your tsp of 151-rum on top.
Cheers to San Juan! Whether this cocktail was created there or not, I like it!
