Barbados Punch
4 shots out of 5
I have had my eye on this cocktail for a long time.
I was only missing the Captain Morgans to complete my recipe.
I gave tonight's cocktail 4 shots out of 5.
This is a tasty blended cocktail, I must say.

It's heavy on the pineapple juice flavor, so you'll need to be in the mood for it.
If you are, you will absolutely enjoy this cocktail!
As my foam is settling in this cocktail, I'm able to get real sips of the actual liquid part of the cocktail.....it's good and I would think that you could make a huge batch of it and put it in a punch (hence the name) bowl and serve it at a party.
I would definitely come to that party!! All in all, tonight's cocktail is a winner in The Cocktail Lady's book!!

Here is the recipe for a Barbados Punch:
- 1 shot Captain Morgans Spiced Rum
- 1 shot lime juice
- 1/4 shot triple sec
- 2 shots pineapple juice
- 1 cup ice
In a blender, add ice, rum, lime juice, triple sec and pineapple juice. Blend it up real good until all of the ice is gone. Pour and enjoy! (I would suggest waiting until your foam has settled a bit before you start drinking.)
It's a good thing I was in the pineapple juice mood tonight (and I didn't even know I was.......huh, go figure).
Cheers!!

I actually did not like this one. Which is odd, cause I love pineapple in my drinks. I think that there was to much lime juice which didn't complement well with the spiced rum. I did drink half of it, but I wouldn't make it again. But I just had to try it. At least I'll give myself that much :)
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you tried it and sorry you didn't like it. Sometimes that lime juice absolutely messes with a good cocktail, I absolutely agree!
DeleteThis looks really good, and while I dont have blended drinks often there is always a time for one (or three! ha!)
ReplyDeleteThis sounds so delicious! I think the hubby might have stashed a captain morgan somewhere, might have to dig it out!
ReplyDeleteThis looks delish! I must try!
ReplyDeleteLooks refreshing and vacay-worthy! I’ll have to try it! Thank you!
