Midori June Bug
3 shots out of 5
I have an appt. with an orthopedic tomorrow to see if my foot is broken.......please send "non-broken foot" vibes my way!!
I really don't want a broken foot.......so we'll see what happens.
On another note, I got tonight's cocktail from the Midori website.
I saw a few others on there that sounded interesting, so I'll be giving them a try in the future for sure.
I gave tonight's cocktail 3 shots out of 5.
This was a pretty good cocktail.
Not a whole lot of "wow" flavor for me, but good none the less.
I think if I was to make this cocktail again, I'd cut back on the lemon juice a bit and add more coconut rum and/or banana liqueur to give it more flavor.
Putting my amendments to the cocktail aside, I really am enjoying it and will definitely finish the whole thing!

Here is the recipe for a Midori June Bug:
- 1 oz Midori
- 1/2 oz coconut rum
- 1/2 oz banana liqueur
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- 1 oz lemon juice
In a shaker, add ice, Midori, rum, banana liqueur, pineapple and lemon juices. Shake up your mixture really well and strain it into a tall cocktail glass filled with crushed ice.
Here's to a few more Midori cocktail in the future!
Cheers!!
