Prince Albert

Day 145

Prince Albert
3.5 shots out of 5

Alcohol........and the mixing of it has surprised the shit heck outta me.

I am still today, day 145, amazed at the cocktails that I actually do honestly like!

Tonight's cocktail (if you couldn't already tell) is one of those.

As much as I enjoy making and drinking cocktails that I "more or less" already know that I'll like, I really enjoy it when a cocktail surprises me in the "Like Column".

I gave tonight's cocktail 3.5 shots out of 5.

I have to say I was expecting to give this cocktail a 2ish rating at the most.

I received this cocktail recipe from one of my husband's co-workers, Mike.  Mike says it's one of his favorites and I have been honestly scared to try it ever since the email came in.

I continuously (not on purpose, I absolutely swear) forget to get a can of red bull at the store when I go, so I have not been able to make it until tonight.  I am sorry that my brain (it's the 4 kids who have taken my super sharp memory I "used to have" away) could not remember to get it until now.

This is surprisingly a very good cocktail.

I made it........stared at it.....stared at it some more, then picked it up and started drinking.....with delight, I must say.

I had my husband try it as well and he likes it and says "It's a creeper!".

Not as in a scary cocktail, but as in a good cocktail that you could drink real fast and enjoy......forgetting there's alcohol in it and then.......BAM it hits you!

Here is a photo of the end result:

Here is a photo of the ingredients:

Prince Albert, cocktail, crown royal, crown royal whisky red bull, energy drink, peach schnapps

Here is the recipe for a Prince Albert:

  • 1 shot Crown Royal
  • small can of Red Bull
  • peach schnapps

In a low ball glass place your shot glass filled with Crown Royal.  Then fill up your low ball glass with Red Bull just to the top of the shot glass.  Top off your glass with peach schnapps.  Not a whole lot of it, but enough to give it a good layer on top of the shot glass.

Here's to you Mike and your quite yummy cocktail!  Thank You for sending me your recipe!!

Cheers!!

The Cocktail Lady
