Pumpkin Pie Martini
5 shots out of 5
Today I made the most perfect cocktail ever.
EVER I say!
I was conflicted on whether or not I should post it closer to Thanksgiving, or if since "pumpkin" is in the title I should post it for Halloween.
Then I decided that I want you ALL to be able to enjoy this amazing cocktail for as long as you can, so here it is, perfection in a martini glass!

I gave tonight's today's (again) cocktail 5 shots out of 5.
This Pumpkin Pie Martini is one of my MOST favoritest cocktails ever.
Each and every ingredient in this cocktail is added in the perfect amount.
This cocktail is a must try. If you like pumpkin pie......or even "kinda do" (like me), you will love love love his cocktail.
Yes, this cocktail does take a little more then pouring in a couple ingredients and shaking them up, but every extra thing you add to this cocktail (like rimming the glass with brown sugar and adding the pumpkin puree and pumpkin pie spice) will be definitely worth it!

Here is the recipe for a Pumpkin Pie Martini:
- 1 1/2 oz vanilla vodka
- 1/2 oz pumpkin puree
- 1/2 oz half & half
- 1/2 TBSP. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. pumpkin pie spice
- extra brown sugar for rimming the glass
In a shaker, add ice and all of the ingredients above except the "extra brown sugar for rimming the glass". Shake up your mixture very well. In a brown sugar rimmed martini glass, strain in your cocktail, sit back and enjoy this AH-MAZE-ING cocktail!!
Here's to liquid pumpkin pie! My newest favorite cocktail!
Cheers!!
The Cocktail Lady
YUM. liquid pumpkin pie--- nothing better.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if I made it wrong, or if I just seriously disagree with you. I haven't tried everything you've posted, but I've had enough that anything you give high marks to is usually enjoyable. This one, I would only give about a 3. The alcohol in the vodka was the strongest taste in this. I was so looking forward to a drinkable pumpkin pie, I went and bought some pumpkin puree (sure did think I already had some) and half-half to make it, but I'm highly doubtful I'll try it again. I'm very sad now. :(
ReplyDeleteOh NO! I'm so sorry you didn't like it as much as I did! That makes me sad too :(
DeleteIt's interesting to me that the vodka was the thing that you taste the most in this cocktail. It wasn't for me. Odd. Well I'm glad that we mostly agree on the other cocktails you've tried and am sorry that you didn't like this one as much.
If I ever want to drink my pumpkin pie, this is the way I'll do it! Thanks for stopping by our Happy Holidays Link Party - be sure to join us again this week (beginning on Saturday at 7 pm ET) and every week through the holidays.
