Spiked Pumpkin Milkshake
5+ shots out of 5
The Spiked Pumpkin Milkshake is a delicious pumpkin ice cream milkshake that is blended with rum which makes it perfect for Halloween or any fall day.
Holy Moly!
My mom gave us a carton of Trader Joe's Pumpkin ice cream last night.
Tonight I decided to use it in a cocktail.
I am sooo very very glad that I did.
I think I may make myself another one before I'm done typing up tonight's blog post.
I gave tonight's cocktail 5+ shots out of 5.
I just felt I needed to add something to the 5.
I figure rum would go well with pumpkin ice cream and it would need to be spiced rum since the pumpkin ice cream is a little spicy.
Oh boy was I right!
Three simple ingredients.
Two simple toppings and a glass full of AWESOMENESS!!
If you like pumpkin ice cream (which I swear sounds better towards the end of the year then during spring or summer), you will LOVE this cocktail.

Here is my recipe for Spiked Pumpkin Milkshake:
- 1 1/2 oz spiced rum
- 3/4 C pumpkin ice cream
- 3 oz milk
- whipped cream
- pumpkin pie spice
In a blender, add the first three ingredients and blend them up until your mixture gets liquified. Pour into your glass and squirt some whipped cream on top and sprinkle pumpkin pie spice on top of that.
Here's to creating an AH-MAZE-ING milkshake!
Cheers!!

YUM! Adam brought home that pumpkin ice cream, too. It's so rich and creamy-- much more so than any other ice cream I've had.
ReplyDeleteI love rum. Great idea.
What a creative (and grown-up) milkshake. Thanks for stopping by our Happy Holidays Link Party - be sure to join us again this week (beginning on Saturday at 7 pm ET) and every week through the holidays.
