Oatmeal Cookie
5 shots out of 5
Today is the day, today is the day!
Our oldest comes home today.
I swear I am checking his flight info every five minutes. I can not wait to see him, hug him and hear all about his trip. I sure wish they had a trip like that for me when I was in the eight grade.
In celebration, I decided to make another cookie shooter, like the cranberry cookie, but different.

I gave tonight's cocktail 5 shots out of 5.
WOW, I don't remember the last time I tried Goldschlager, but I have to say, it's pretty good.....when mixed in with other ingredients. This shooter is amazing!
The cinnamon is definitely there, but not too there where I can't drink the whole thing. It's a GREAT addition to this shot and I enjoyed it a lot.
I love it when I find shooters that are delicious and not face squinching, it makes me happy.

Here is the recipe for a Oatmeal Cookie:
- 1/2 oz Baileys
- 1/2 oz butterscotch schnapps
- 1/2 oz goldschlager
In a shaker, add ice and all of the ingredients above. Shake and strain into a shot glass.
Here's to enjoying an Oatmeal Cookie shooter and the real thing!!
Cheers!

Mmm that does sound tasty! Hope your son had a great trip :)
ReplyDeleteThis is one of my favorite dessert drinks (add some cream/milk/whateva you got on hand) and it makes it more than a shot! Have you tried using the cin. schapps for a gingerbread cookie yet?
ReplyDeleteHi Renee! I actually have it planned out for Friday and I can't wait to try it! Thank You again for the idea it sounds delicious!!
DeleteLove Goldschlager!!! Yum yum.
ReplyDeleteDon't have Goldschlager so used this Hot D@mn cinnamon schnapps that I have. Yum! Made a second one that I will be sipping as I finish this movie I'm watching.
ReplyDeleteOh good! I've heard of Hot Damn, is it the same thing? Or hotter.....oh shoot, I need to do the taste test for you on the peppermint schnapps's!
DeleteI think it's approximately the same thing, but perhaps this one is a little hotter, I'm not sure. I know it worked fine in this recipe, but was horrid in that Christmas/gingerbread cookie. It has the cinnamon-red food coloring so it is not clear like yours, but I think that is just aesthetics.
DeleteYour cocktail names are so much fun! Thanks again for sharing at #theweekendsocial. Love to have you back Thursday 9:00 PM EST. Pinned as always. theKitchenChopper.com
