SAMU Daiquiri
5 shots out of 5
He's home, he's home! Our oldest came home last night and I am SOOO happy to have him home again. I can now rest easier at night and not have that "Instant Tears" emotions that happen every time I think of how far away from me he is. Phewph, I bet I could sleep for days now!
I gave tonight's cocktail 5 shots out of 5. Holy Moly I created an AWESOME daiquiri! The people at SAMU were right when they wanted to market their Thai Coconut Water to the cocktail world. These ingredients all work wonderfully together.....so wonderfully, I think I may want to make another. I taste the pineapple in this cocktail the most, but it's a creamy cocktail thanks to the ice cream and the different coconut flavors in here, yum!! Winner in my book, and no it's not because I created it!
Here is my recipe for a SAMU Daiquiri:
- 1 1/2 oz Malibu rum
- 1 oz SAMU
- 1 oz pineapple juice
- 1/2 C vanilla ice cream
- 1/2 oz cream of coconut
In a blender, add all of the ingredients above. Blend until it liquefies, pour and enjoy!

Here's to another winning SAMU cocktail!
Cheers!!
