Could it be.........something I don't have?

We just got home from a week up at the lake with my parents for the Fourth Of July.

We do this every year and everyone really looks forward to it.

This year it was hotter then hot, with temperatures reaching (on my birthday of all days) 111 degrees!  Yes that was hot, but the thing that made these high temperatures unbearable was the dang humidity!

Oh that stuff was horrible.

Following the hot temperatures was a pretty cool lightening and thunder show followed by overnight rain.  Once all of that made it's way through, the Fourth was beautiful!!

We once again went out on the boat when it got dark (which is like 9:45) and sat there and watched the firework show.......beautiful!

What did we come home to you ask?

Well another baseball tournament of course!

We also squeezed a little birthday get together in for me Saturday night.

Which brings me to the reason of this post.

I guess it can be a little intimidating to buy The Cocktail Lady a bottle of booze for her birthday.

I mean......what does she have?

What doesn't she have?

Will she judge me if I buy her this one?

Will she even like that one?

I did receive one bottle of alcohol from a friend and I am very excited to say that it is a bottle that I do NOT have and also one that I have been WANTING to buy forever!

Thank You Jen for my X-rated and variety of flavors!!

I love them and can't wait to use them!!

Here is a photo of what I got:

I hope you all had a very safe and fun Fourth of July (those of you in the U.S.A. that is).  If you don't live in the U.S.A., I hope you had a great weekend!!

Cheers!

  1. YES!!!!!! It was very difficult...the pressure made me, well, want to pour myself a drink right there in the store! ;) haha I am thrilled and touched that I was able to add to very impressive collection, Cocktail Lady! Can't wait to see what you come up with and your feedback. :) Happy Birthday! xo

  2. The packaging & bottle look real attractive, I must say. I might have to store some of those X-Rated drinks in my True TBB-24-48 cooler. Thanks for sharing!
