I need to say that I can NOT believe how long it's been since my last post.
These past 2 weeks have been absolutely insane.......I'm surprised I haven't have more cocktails.
We celebrated my birthday with some friends on Saturday, which was a total blast! Had a few margaritas, a few shots of Fireball (by itself......no mixing needed) and a couple beers.
Yea.......it was a good night!
I haven't done a layered shooter in a while, so a I thought I'd do one. I found a few online that look "interesting" so be ready!
I also was told of a Fireball cocktail a reader of mine makes at her house (which I'm totally going to try), as well as another shooter Fireball posted on Facebook not too long ago.
Needless to say, I've got some cocktails on the way.

This shooter is OK.
It doesn't scream "I'm the best shooter in the world".......yet it's not the worst.
The equal amounts of both liqueurs seem to sort of cancel each other out, so this shooter doesn't taste like either one too much......just a blend of both.
It was worth trying, since I love creme de banana, but I won't be trying it again.

Here is the recipe for a Banana Slip:
- 3/4 ounce creme de banana
- 3/4 ounce Irish Cream
In a shot glass, pour in your creme de banana. Next over the back of a spoon, layer the Irish Cream on top.
Here's to getting back to making cocktails after a couple of crazy weeks!!
Cheers!!
I have never made a layered cocktail - this looks like fun (though I must admit am not a huge Baileys fan!).
