Are you a whisky lover? If so this shooter is the one for you! It has a good combination of flavors but never looses that whisky taste.
Happy.....June? These last 2 months have been a roller coaster. Between family stuff, kids stuff and our "normal" everyday life......sometimes life is hard.
It's been a while since I've given you a new cocktail......and I'm sorry.
I'll be the first to admit that I sure have needed LOTS of cocktails over the past couple months! Here I am, back with a fun shooter I found at Las Vegas Weekly.

A friend of ours, when he sees something new will bring us a new bottle of liquor we haven't yet tried.
This bottle of Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey Whisky was brought over a month or so ago and was FINALLY opened today!
I had found this recipe shortly after we received the bottle and have been holding onto it ever since.

This shooter is definitely for those of you who enjoy the taste of whisky. It was a little too whisky-ey for me, but that being said, it wasn't half bad! I personally think the whipped cream on top is a must (it cuts back on the whisky taste a little).
All in all, not a bad shooter!

Here is the recipe for a Hot Lil Honey
- 1 ounce Honey Whisky
- 1/2 ounce Fireball whisky
- 1/2 ounce Frangelico
In a shaker, add ice and the three ingredients above. Shake and strain into a shot glass. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with cinnamon.
It's great to be posting again. My goal is to do this a LOT more often!
Cheers!
The Cocktail Lady
I LOVE Jack Daniels, so this is a must-try.
