Creamy Irish Balls
It's Friday!
It's been over a week (one day over) since I've last posted and I promise that I have been wanting to in this last week. I really did.
My days have been filled up with family and helping them out. I absolutely LOVE the fact that I am a stay at home Mom, for the sole reason that when my kids are in school I can help out with family stuff in my free time.
This is the very first year that I have had all 4 kids in school, so it's a nice change.

I was looking online for some Irish inspired cocktails for St. Patrick's Day. I found a couple and decided to put my own twist on them.
Today's cocktail I call Creamy Irish Balls. I had a few names for this cocktail come to mind, but this one I thought was the best!

This cocktail is creamy from the Irish Cream and then has a nice cinnamon kick at the end.
Fireball whisky seems to do that when mixed with other ingredients. It always seems to give a good cinnamon-ey kick to finish off each sip. Now you have another option when trying to decide what to drink for St. Patrick's Day! My goal is to give you a couple more choices between now and then.

Here's my recipe for Creamy Irish Balls:
- 1 1/2 ounces Irish Cream Liqueur
- 1 1/2 ounces Fireball Whisky
In a shaker, add ice and both ingredients above. Shake and strain into a glass and enjoy!
Here's to family. I don't know what I would do without mine!
Cheers!
I have to admit . . . the name drew me in. But I love the drink! Pinning!
ReplyDeleteHa ha! I'm glad you checked it out! Thank you for pinning. I had a couple names in mind, but this one cracked me up. A friend of mine said, "You are going to have some crazy google searches with that name, lol"! Cheers!! xoxo
