May The Fourth Be With You!

These two Star Wars themed cocktails are perfect for all of you Star Wars fans out there!

Now you can choose which side to be on.......or drink on.  

Do you choose the Vader?  Claiming the Dark Side?

Do you choose the Skywalker?  Claiming the Light Side?

Shoot, might as well choose them both.......you know.....to make sure you weigh all of your options for the final battle and all.

Our house is divided between Dark Side lovers and Light Side lovers, which I think makes it fun.  Our 12 year old son, a few months ago, got into Star Wars like nothing else.  He had a Star Wars marathon and watched ALL of the movies in order.  Him and my husband play that Star Wars deck building game and really enjoy it.  

Me?  I make Star Wars themed cocktails instead......and I really enjoy it!

I know you're all dying to know what side I'm on.......right?  Well I'm a fan of the Light Side, BUT that being said......I like the Dark Side cocktail the best!  The Vader is my favorite of the two.

Don't get me wrong, the Skywalker has Midori!  That's always a win win in my book, but overall taste, I'm a Vader fan.

Whichever side of the force you choose to be on, you will be happy with your cocktail.

Vader

INGREDIENTS:

• 1 1/2 ounces vodka
• 1 1/2 ounces peach schnapps
• 1 ounce lime juice
• 1 1/2 ounces grenadine

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a shaker add ice and all of the ingredients above.
2. Shake and strain into a tall bud vase.

Skywalker

INGREDIENTS:

• 1 1/2 ounces coconut rum
• 1 1/2 ounces vodka
• 1 1/2 ounces melon liqueur
• 1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. In a shaker add ice and all of the ingredients above.
2. Shake and strain into a tall bud vase.
