New Glassware
Took "yet another" trip to my local BevMo today. I'm excited about my "little" purchase. Really my husband and I went in to get some beer and then we were drawn over to the shelves with the glassware. I usually look at those shelves every third time I go in there (and as you know I go in there a lot lately) and really nothing changes.....WELL IT SURE DID TODAY!
I saw a couple of the coolest shot glasses ever! The two shot glasses on the right (slanted and hurricane) were a MUST buy! The shot glass on the left is one of my favorite ones to mix with. It holds a shot filled to the top, but it also marks .5, 1 and 1.5 oz too! So now I don't have to sit here and convert everything I read! Fantastic! I HIGHLY recommend getting one of those shot glasses if you have the same problem I have with conversion.......non-existent skills! Honestly I am getting better at the whole conversion thing......but now I have no reason to have to ever think about it again.
I also purchased those two cocktail glasses in the back as well. You can start looking out for these new guys to be holding some upcoming cocktails and shooters!
I have been looking for a slanted shot glass forever. How much was it?
ReplyDeleteHi Pam! Isn't it cool! That shot glass as well as the Hurricane one were $2.99 each. I like it and it was fun drinking out of it......it almost felt like I was going to pour the shot on me before it got to my mouth.
DeleteOMG...I love this site and we are such kindred spirits (laugh)...I'm a glass fantatic...you 'd be surprised...some stores have a section of glasses on discount...especially liquor stores that have a bar/restaurant attached! They order too many glasses or just get new ones and they sell the others at a discounted price! Also...Crate and Barrel used to sell these glasses called ROLLY POLLIE and they also had the shot glass and it was a teetoddler...up until last year they were still selling them but they changed the weight...they were thinner. They are soo cool!
ReplyDeleteGlasses are fun!! I have seen those Rolly Pollie glasses you're talking about before......well pictures of them, never had a chance to actually use one. They look fun though! I have not heard of their teetoddler shot glass before though, I'll have to see if I can find it.
DeleteI'm sooo excited that you found my blog and love it! I hope you stay for the rest of my journey! Cheers!!
They are all beautiful! Even these glassware items vary in sizes, the most common one contains an average shot of 1 1/2 ounces. That's enough to satisfy a man's taste.
